My Experience With Diet and Exercise The Natural Health Way

There are so many people who are concerned about their weight. Some desire to lose weight because of health reasons so that they have a reduced risk of diabetes, heart problems and other related issues. Of course there are still more people who only want to lose weight fast in order to impress their friends and feel good about their body. Reasons like this, either vanity driven or health concern driven, is an admirably quality to have and should be maintained until you are happy with the body you have.

I often think about my weight and how it appears to others but I have to admit that the only time that I think about it or become concerned is when it relates to health issues. There are constant reminders everywhere that help to focus me back on track and keep my belief that following a diet plan and doing plenty of exercise is the way forward. In fact when I say diet program or anything like that I am referring to just a normal way of eating with your treats and hates all mixed in with the right proportions that you could keep this up for a long time.

Diet and exercise are equally important to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle but I personally place more emphasis on exercise. When you really think about it, exercising more has got to be the way forward because there are so many advantages that it has. For me, playing sports be it tennis, squash, cycling or anything else is fun! And this really is the key. If you have enough free time to spend at least 1 hour per day playing a sport that you love you can’t help but lose weight and then become fit.

This approach that I have taken allows me to essentially eat as much food as I wish! Image that, no more strict diet plans to follow. As long as I get enough nutrients, vitamins and energy from my diet then I can just stuff my face. This is because doing that extra bit of exercise on a daily basis means that I am definitely burning more calories than I consume. Of course we know what that means, I start to lose weight.

This is where I am today. I have a healthy lifestyle which I am easily maintaining – and this is the real shocker – I am easily coping with this new approach and I am enjoying every minute of it because I am seeing the result happen with a smile on my face. This is not some dig-deep and plough your way through an intense period of hating every minute of what you are doing and hoping that when you stop and go back to what you were doing previously you won’t put on weight again kind of attitude because that is you just dreaming. You need to wake up and take action, grasping the facts and taking the hardest, yet at the same time, the easiest way out if you are thinking long term. So my very humble advice is to slowly change your lifestyle and implement a little sport and a little bit of dieting. And when you get comfortable with that then you add a little more something until you are at the weight you desire and have a lifestyle that you are happy with.
